The traveling musical group The Pussycats is the hottest thing around. Lou, Kei and Sonya are three, sexy singers with a legion of screaming fans in every town. But these pussycats have claws. Singers by day, assassins by night. Unbeknownst to their fans, The Pussycats are also The Midnight Panthers - female assassins who will kill anyone for the right price!

The story for Midnight Panther was a good one. About three girls with three very strange powers. I didn't like that they were a singing group, however that isn't shown much in the story. There was a twist of incest, that kinda was gross, but it worked to an extent. Actually, they could of done it completely differently and had the same impact, but ok they were brother and sister. The animation was stunning, I like the whole glossy look it had to it.

The characters lacked depth, except for the main character and at some points I found her emotions empty. There is no real love story in this, but it's all about revenge. The way each girl goes around assasinating thier targets is both unique and wonderful. Neither of them do it in the same fashion, however our main character is never given human targets. If you haven't seen it yet, I would recommend it. Just pretend they aren't really brother and sister.
