Me First and the Gimme Gimmes are back and ready for action with their fourth album. I haven’t really heard their other albums other than the casual listen, so I do not know how this album compares to their other ones. I was told that I had to buy this CD because it is really good.

I must agree with the person who told me that, it is a very good album. This is an album full of lovey dovey break up cover songs. I like the new spin MFATGGs put on each song. They have wonderful guitar riffs that are quite catchy. The drums provide a great backbeat. And the ukulele on I Believe I Can Fly makes me laugh because it sounds a little out of place, but it fits.

My favorite songs are Hello, Nothing Compares 2 U, and I Believe I Can Fly. The songs all have an individual unique sound, which makes each track flow together nicely. Some songs have heavier riffs, while others are a little lighter, and some even have a mixture of both.

This is a good album to listen to if you are in the right mood. I don’t think it makes very good studying music, but it is nice to listen to if you want something a little different. I recommend this album to anyone who wants to hear a new twist on any of the songs that are on the album. If you are a Me First and the Gimme Gimmes fan, then you should definitely get this album.
