I am not one for most Chick Flicks, but I saw this and I thought it would be worth a couple of laughs. I sat down to this movie expecting a lovy dovy chick flick, and that is what I got. Not to say I didn't enjoy it, I loved watching everything she did to try and get him to break up with her. I also loved watching his "I have had enough!" meter go up to nearly a breaking point, just to have his friend whisper sweet nothings into his ears. I laughed quite a bit at this movie, mostly because I am a girl which is something I am proud to be. It did leave alot of the stereotypical parts of a love movie behind, which made it alot better then most movies of its genre. It's good for a couple laughs, and to sit down next to your Honey Man and make him watch it.

CHICK FLICK! Now that I have that out of the way...on to the review. This wasn't a bad movie. No really, it wasn't! I thought for its genre, it was funny, not to corny, and actually had a decent plot. Although I found myself cringing on most of the horrific things she did to try to get him to break up with her, I also found myself laughing at him. All guys now how it is to take a bet and have to belly up to the bar and take it like a man. Both actors were pretty good for their parts, and it didn't have that ackward moments where the actors were supposed to look like they loved each other, but there was no chemistry felt between them. Its much better then, say, The Wedding Planner, or other movies of that type. Guys, this movie should be called, how to get some in 10 min., because your girls are going to love you watching it with them.
