Bryan's Dream| Kian's Dream| Mark's Dream| Nicky's Dream| Shane's Dream|
I dreamt I went to bed wearing a pair of pyjamas with monkeys and tigers on them. In the dream, the monkeys kept jumping on the tigers and the tigers kept chasing the monkey. I dreamt I'd had a sleepless night and was very tired when I woke up. WHAT IS MEANS Dreaming about what you're wearing means you're very conscious of your outer persona in your waking life. Often, the clothes you wear in your dreams represent how you reckon other people see you. Pyjamas would suggest a laid-back, chilled type - or perhaps a bit of a joker, especially if you're wearing 'jamas when everyone else is in their day clothes. The monkeys in the dream would reinforce this and maybe indicate that you're a bit of a mischief-maker. In contrast, the tigers represent power, energy and cunning. The fact that the two animals were play-fighting indicates that you're suffering from some kind of inner turmoil - as if the powerful, manly side of your personality (i.e. the 'tiger' in you) is battling with the more immature, playful side (i.e. your 'inner monkey'!). Dreaming of sleeplessness or of not sleeping well could suggest that you are willing to make changes if necessary. It would appear that you are maturing and, whether your conscious mind likes it or not, you are going to grow up. Subconsciously, in your dreams, this is manifesting itself as a tussle between the monkey and the tiger. No wonder you were tired when you woke up! Kian's Dream
I dreamt I was going out with a girl who was also going out with a boy from 98 Degrees. Me and this guy had a fight and I won. WHAT IT MEANS This dream is very similar to Nicky's dream in that it's all about competing and winning. Your dream is more straightforward in that it focuses on bands rather than football teams. It's also more romantic in content, which probably indicates you're more of a romantic person or perhaps you have romantic issues on your mind at the moment. Your dream is telling you pretty much the same as Nicky's dream was telling him - you're concentrating so much on winning that you're putting yourself at risk of not feeling the fun of what you're doing any more. Sometimes if you're running too fast through life, everything becomes a blur; slow down a bit and you can enjoy the scenery as you go. Get the drift? (P.S. Seems you and Nicky are spending too much time together. Having the same - or similar - dreams is often a result of that.) Mark's Dream
I had a very vivid dream about singing backing vocals with Mariah Carey, who I absolutely adore. Lo and behold, my dream ending up coming true when we recorded 'Against All Odds' with Mariah Carey! WHAT IT MEANS Because this dream is so specific, it sounds as if this really could have been a premonition. On the other hand, maybe your subconscious mind recognised that Westlife's voices would work well with Mariah's and suggested this to you through a dream. Alternatively, maybe your dream inspired you (consciously or subconsciously) to go out, track down Mariah Carey and do the song with her. Was it your idea? If so, then this could be the case. If the idea came from somewhere else entirely, then it's got to be more than just a coincidence. Scientific types would probably say that so many people have so many dreams, sooner or later one of them is going to come true, but those who believe that there's more to life than science might regard this dream as prophetic or future-revealing. Prophetic dreams have been well-documented over the years, so there's no doubt as to whether ot not they actually happen. No-one really knows for sure how or why they happen, but certain 'blessed' people seem to have them more than others. So count yourself blessed, Mark! Maybe you have special powers and should keep a check on future 'dreams'. (Precognitive dreams such as these are more visions than dreams.) Who knows - one day you may be able to trade in your microphone for a crystal ball?! Nicky's Dream
I dreamt I was playing football for Ireland against England in the final for the World Cup and scored the winning goal for Ireland. WHAT IT MEANS A ball in a dream can often represent wholeness and unity. Maybe you feel you're uniting England and Ireland with Westlife's music - and if you DO feel that, then you're right in many respects. On a different level, this sort of dream can warn you that the only person you're competing with is yourself and that maybe it's not so healthy to be quite so competitive. The fact that you scored the winning goal would make it appear that you're hellbent on being the best, the hero, the centre of attention. These sort of dreams can sometimes be advising you to chill, stop focusing on winning quite so much and just enjoy the game instead. (In pop band terms, maybe you shouldn't worry about every Westlife song getting to Number One. Thinking that way could cause you to forget just how much fun the whole thing is. So next time you record a song or an album, stop fretting about how it's going to be received and just enjoy singing it instead.) Shane's Dream
I dreamt I met Michael Jackson and we hung out and became great mates. It was so incredibly realistic that when I woke the next morning, I was gutted when I realised it was just a dream! WHAT IT MEANS When you dream about someone who's famous or in the public eye - especially if it's someone you've never met in waking life - you're going on how they're perceived as a personality, rather than on any real facts. A hanging out with MJ dream may simply be a 'wish' dream - maybe you really would like to be big mates with Michael in waking life. (That would explain why you felt so gutted when you woke up.) On the other hand, much like Bryan's dream about the tigers and monkeys, this dream could be bringing some of Michael's qualities to your attention. Why? Well, think about it... Does Mr. Jackson possess any qualities you admire? Or is there something about him that you don't like? Whichever, the dreams could be your subconscious mind's way of connecting you to those qualities and maybe a way of suggesting that you work on those qualities in yourself. Well, it's either that or you just desperate to be his best buddy... (Only you know which interpration's the right one.) You are visitor number: since 2nd April 2001.
