Sights inside the Cathedral

The High Goddess' Temple
Apperance: A large room filled with purple tapestries, and a floor designed with black and white dragons, pheonixes, and unicorns. A large, silver statue of the goddess is set in the center of the temple, and a small, crystalline fountain bubbles on the wall behind it, flowing through a make-shift moat around the room, and to the statue's side.
Purpose: To pray to The High Goddess of course! Sacrifices and offerings may be laid at the statues feet.
Other: If the High Goddess ever visits Lomeelas this is the place she will appear.

The Fountain of Youth
Apperance: A large, bubbling fountain set in the middle of the cathedral's main hall. There is a statue of two, golden cherubs holding up a vase that pours out water in the center of it.
Purpose: Those who drink from the fountain of youth will be turned back to a tweenage year. The water does not give internal youth, or keep a person from dying.

The Never Ending Staircase
Apperance: Obsidian black stairs that spiral up to the roof of the cathedral. A person on the stairs can always see the end of them, but can never reach it no matter how far up they go. Those not on the stairs can also see the top of them, but cannot see any of the people climbing.
Purpose: None...but it'll give you good exercise ^.~

Library of Invisible Text
Apperance: A large mahagany and gold coloured library, with seemingly endless bookcases. Each book is chained to it's shelf to prevent theft, and they are all left wide open. From a distance one can see that there is writing on the pages, but once somone gets close enough to read the writing is no longer there.
Purpose: None
