A nobel is not only somone who is filthy rich, but also somone related, or close to, the king, queen, or a late royal, or they can be somone who has just worked thier way into power and the king's favor. Nobels have alot of power over people, and are usually in charge of governing the towns under the king's requirments. They help with the law-making and (somtimes) the rites of the lower-class citizens.
A nobel can be demoted to Wealthy, or lower, if they loose the trust and/or favor of the current king. The can also be upped to the Royal status if the king and queen die without having any heirs to continue ruling in thier stead.
Nobels are always paid by taxes, other nobels, or Royalty.
