Religion/Beliefs:
High elves are very close with nature and astrology. Thier religion is highly defined by the stars. They believe that each star is another universe, such as thier own, and that each universe was actually created, completly and utterly, by The High Goddess. They say that each universe was a lonely tear, dropped into the dark abyss of nothingness.
High elves usually live in thier own little villages, or cities, and thier religious leader is a Shaman, usually one with moderate Foresight and Healing abilities.
Like Angels, high elves believe that the world and it's people cannot be owned.
Marriage/Courtship:
High elves are allowed one life-partner only, and one marriage only, though they are allowed to have several lesser partners before finding such a lover. High elves more commenly have opposite-sex lovers, but those who do prefer those of the same-sex are rarely, if ever, shunned by the others. High elves do have arranged marriages, but only when absolutly nescissary.
Marriages amoungst high elves are spectacular events, and will usually last up to three days. The area in which the marriage will take place is decorated beautifully in shining sillver and white, to reflect the stars, and great feasts are laid out. The to-be-married couple are not allowed to see eachoter during this time except for when the vows are being exchanged, which, in high elf culture, is the last thing to be done.
Slavery:
High elves shun slavery, as it mocks several of thier believes, and it quite a distastful thing. Slaves and masters who fall in love with one another(it happens!) are shunned even more.
High elves do make wonderful slaves, if somone happens to catch one, and will sell for a high price under most circumstances, though they are incredibly hard to break and will not submit to anyone untill they are.
Other: Elves first langauge is always, always, always, elvish, though all must also learn the common speak, and the Shaman of the villagee is obligated to learn Cisorsi.
