Overall Apperance: Form is humanoid with feathered, not-quite bird-wings. Very beautiful, slender and elegant looking. Can have halos, but usually don't.

Religions/Beliefs:
Angels are beings able to drift back and forth from heaven and the common world, if they wish too, so they do know exactly what happened in the term of creation and the gods. They keep this knowledge secret and to themselves, somtimes even erasing thier own memory of it, in fear that the gods will punish them if they tell their secrets to the world of others.
Angels believe they must pray atleast twice a day, once when they wake, and one before they sleep, or the gods will not let them back to heaven because they disrespected them. Other angels, who do not wish to return to the holy world, don't bother with this constant praying, but still find that they should visit the temple of the high goddess at least once a year, to ask for forgiveness of thier wish to stay in the mortal world, and disrespectful behaviour.
Angels do not believe that anything is owned. The world is its own, the people are thier own, and the animals are thier own.
Marriage/Courtship:
Most angels believe in celibacy, which is not a problem considering the fact that they are immortal, so the angel population has not grown much since the original few landed in Lomeelas. If an angel choses to not be celibate, then they are only allowed one marriage, and one marriage only, and are not allowed sex before marriage. Angel marriages *cannot* be arranged, because the race does not believe in unloving relationships. Angels also believe that there is no boundry for love, and are allowed any sort of marriage, whether it be same-sex or opposite-sex, angels will not shun eachother with such descisions.
Slavery:
Angels are *not* permitted to have slaves, and it is against thier religious beliefs and marriage customs for them to be slaves. Willingly at least, as angels *are* very popular amoungst the slave markets and can fetch a pretty penny. Many angels turned into slaves will be turned to fallen angels, and loose thier wings, at which point many angel-slavers will abandon them, or sell them off again for a much cheaper price. Slavery is highly shunned amoung angels.
