Just like racing, showing is a great way to earn money and fame, as well as having loads of fun.
Showing is more often used to earn material fame for animals, to up the cost of stud fees, and to earn breeding rites. But just like racing, not all animals are of show quality. Here is a list of all elligable species:
Dog, Fox, African Wild Hunting Dog, House Cat, Tiger, Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, Horse, Pony, Zebra/Zebracorn/Zebrasus, Ferret, Mini Dragon, Wyrm, and Wyvren
Considerable more species for showing, then for racing, eh?
Showing works much the same way as racing does, minus the fact that the training is not so hard. Animals must learn basically when to keep quite, when to 'speak', when to stay still, and when to move. Show training is still a very straining, and time consuming process though. Not to mention you need skill points to do it!
Skill points needed for Show Training:
Animal Knowledge - 6/12
Animal Recognization - 3/12
Animal Care - 8/12
Animal Grooming - 9/12
Riding - 6/12**
**Needed for horses only
Showing often takes place indoors, the building type varying from place to place, no two are really alike. Shows are judged by breeders, who above all(desire power *snicker*) know a good quality animal when they see one. Prizes are given out as deserved, as are breeding rites, and stud-fee increasments.
