As the driver came into the last bit of the curve, he started to lay the bike down and brake. I thought that he was going to end up under my trailer. All that I could do was straddle the lane next to me, actually over the dotted line and partly into the middle lane where those two cars were. As he came around next to me, I looked into my right side mirror and the bike was UNDER my trailer on an angle.
He somehow managed to keep himself from hitting the side of my trailer and brought the bike back over into his own lane. He straightened the thing up and continued up the road! All this at 100km/h! (63 mph) When he caught up to me, the youngster on the bike didn't even acknowledge that fact that I was there. Or that I moved over for him. Amazing!
This kid almost died because of "an error in judgement". Or was it lack of proper training?
Experience? Stupidity? I'm not sure.
One things for sure, Expect the unexpected.
