Now it has a 385 ci small block stroker motor and a new TCI 700R4 transmission with a 3.27 rear gear. I installed the engine during December 2001. The initial test drive was on Jan. 3, 2002.
The engine has some ported factory 041 casting heads with 2.02/1.60 SS valves. It has a Comp Cams Extreme Energy 274 Hyd. Cam. It breathes through a 750 Holley and an Edelbrock Performer RPM Intake Manifold. I also installed a 10" TCI StreetFighter torque converter behind the new engine.
Before I sold it, I removed the factory tan interior and replaced it with a gray 1990 model Tran Am interior.
