Only 6000 Impalas were made in 1994. It was mostly stock. Bone stock it ran a 15.28 @ 97 mph on the G-tech through the quarter. With the addition of a K&N Fuel Injection Performance Kit, it ran a 14.89 @ 99 mph on the G-tech. The mph is a bit optimistic on the G-tech. Actual dragstrip mph should be 94-95. It ran a 14.94@93mph at the dragstrip. The only mods were the K&N FIPK and an MSD 6A ignition box. Before I sold it, I performed a bit of tweaking on the computer in order to kick the fans on sooner as well as to firm the shifts a little.
I also had the windows tinted. The transmission has been freshly rebuilt and a TCI 2500 stall torque converter was added. After the torque converter installation, I ran an 8.90 on a local 600' track. That should put it in the 14.4s through the quarter.
