AJ had spent almost the entire morning looking around the hotel for Mel. She had said something to AJ's bodyguard about releasing her tension the only way she knew how, but neither AJ or Néo(his bodyguard) could figure out what she meant. The only way AJ could find out where she went without drawing immediate attention towards himself was to find Manda but she had run off with Brian earlier that morning so that was out of the question.

Mel was pretty tense, like anyone is after a night of clubbing with AJ So she decided to go to the dance studio in the hotel. She was so out of it she only mumbled where she was going to Néo and told him to tell AJ where she was going when he woke up.

It was now shortly after 10:45 am and Mel was paying more attention to her choreography and the music, then if people were watching her. But she should have been paying attention to a certain person watching her.

***AJ's Point of View***

"...Looking at the crowd
and I see your body sway c'mon
Wishin' I could thank you in a different way c'mon..."

I had been walking through the 5th floor(the "activity floor") when I heard the second verse to our second single from "Millennium", "Larger Than Life", coming from the dance studio in the hotel. As I looked into the door way I noticed that someone was dancing (pretty damn good if I might add) but I couldnt tell who it was until she turned around that it was Mel.

When the song was over I clapped.....

"AJ....OMG! You scared me!...Didn't your mother ever tell you it's not polite to stand behind people and scare the living daylights out of them?" She asked catching her breath

"Hasn't anyone told you its not polite to not tell the guy your seeing where your going so he doesn't have 4 out of 5 bodyguards looking for you because he thought you had been kidnaped or something?" I partially joked back. I did have 4 out of the 5 bodyguards looking for her.

"Oh Jay....I thought Néo heard what I said. I didn't mean to get everyone searching for me. I just had to release all the tension and stuff from last night." Mel said now sitting by the giant mirror along one of the walls.

"Well what do you say we go out shopping and forget about the whole thing?" I said standing in front of her "You just go get dressed and have a shower--"

"What? Dont I smell nice enough to go shopping?" Mel asked innocently, then bursting out into hysterics

"Ha Ha... No You dont" I replied smiling

"Could you be more blunt?"She asked sarcastically rising to her feet

"Hey I could have said you smelt like a sweaty pig but I didn't" I joked

Mel smacked my arm jokingly, "Just for that, now I'm going to ask Bre if I can borrow her man for a few hours to go shopping, cause I personally think he's got great taste"She smirked and started to walk out.

***Mel's Point Of View***

" ...5...4...3...2...1..." I thought as I walked towards the door

"Mel Wait" AJ came running up behind me, just as I knew he would "I was only joking, I'm sorry if I offended you in some way (*AN: Ok Ya I know what your probably saying "Mina AJ WOULDN'T talk like that" But its my story, my mind, My rules!:)*) But PLEASE dont go shopping with D! I BEG you!" He was now on his knees in front of me. I couldnt help but smile! He looked SO frigging adorable(but when doesn't he?)

"J, get up"I said smiling( I already said I couldnt help it:)) " I knew you were kidding! Why on earth would you think that I thought D had better taste then you do?...Other then the fact that I just said it a couple minutes ago. You have the BEST taste in clothing I have ever seen a guy have!!!" I said pulling him into a hug

"So does that mean we're going shopping?"he asked

"Yea, just lemmie take a quick shower...since you think I smell like a sweaty pig and all.." I smirked

"Mel I have one small word for you"

"Yea?, What's that?" I asked confused

"Run"

"HUH? Why?"I have to admit I had no idea why he was telling me to run until he told me to run a second time

"J!!"I squealed as I headed towards Néo, who was by the elevators "Néo tell Jay to stop!!"

"Stop"He said unenthusiastically

"Thanks"I said sarcastically as I hid behind him and used him as a shield to block myself from Jay which didn't work to well. Even though those bodyguards are really big and intimidating, and are used to stop herds of screaming wild fans, they dont have much use towards a fan getting tickled by the person they are protecting.

"J...No J c'mon I didn't mean it....AHHH J STOP!!!" I couldnt breath he was tickling me so hard.

"You really didn't mean it?" He asked while pining me on the ground. Néo was just standing by the elevators not paying attention.

"Yes I meant it, now do you wanna get off me so I can shower and we can go shopping?" I demanded

"Fine" AJ said as he got off

***AJ's Point of View***

We had been walking around the mall for almost an hour when I had an awesome thought that I would spring on Mel. She looked to me that she needed an image change, not that she was bad looking or anything but she needed a spunkier look.

"Hey Mel?"

"Mmhum?" She mumbled as she looked into a store

"What do you say we go somewhere more...I dont know...funky?"

"Like where?" she asked stopping

"Well I dont know, I was thinking about getting a new tattoo." I said

"Sure if you wanna. I've always wanted to see one of them done" She replied smiling

We were headed to one of my favorite tattoo and piercing places, Néea's. She is great with a needle! And I was thinking that maybe Mel could get one or a piercing if she preferred that.

"Well Well....look who the cat dragged in! AJ! Long time!" Néea exclaimed

"Né it hasn't been that long! Anyway I came to have my favorite tattoo artist give me another tattoo!"

"Cool, anything for you?" she asked turning towards Mel

"Um Not right now I kinda need to see what I might be getting into" she smiled

"Ok..Well AJ what did you have in mind"

***Mel's Point Of View***

I sat there watching AJ get his new tattoo and that got me thinking....I've always wanted a nose ring....but I've also wanted a tattoo. I decided to talk it over with AJ first then see what I should do.

"AJ...I need you opinion?"

"Ya...sure"He smiled

"Ok well I was thinking-"

"So Thats what I smell!" He cut me off

"If you didn't have a needle sticking into your arm I would hit you soooo hard right now...anyway what I was thinking was I've always wanted a tattoo but I've also wanted something a little less permanent like a nose ring for a long time...what do you think I should get??" I asked

"I dont care... its your body....but if you were to get a tattoo I would suggest you get something that means alot to you!" He said

I sat there thinking that I've wanted to change my appearance for sometime....

***AJ's Point Of View***

I sat there holding her hand as she went through the short pain of getting her nose pierced. She had tears rolling down her face, I thought she was crying.

"Mel, You ok...did that hurt too much?" I asked concerned

"No J its just a reflex type of thing" Né said

"Man that was SO fun!" Mel beamed

"Ok...what kind of bead do you want on the ring"Né asked as she pulled out a container full of different colours

After Mel picked the bead, we went to the car and were on our way back to the hotel when Mel mentioned something I was very proud of.

"J I was wondering," She said with a big grin

"J...I was wondering, what would you say if I wanted to get my hair cut,and dyed?" She asked with a cute smirk

"You mean I would get to make you into a freak like me?" I grinned

"Not necessarily a freak but to change my looks a bit" She smiled

I got Néo to drive us to the best hair studios in T.O. Mel and I walked in together, she told the lady what she wanted done and she was off getting her hair cut and her apperance changed.
