My Hobby

Writing poetry is my hobby number one for three reasons. First, writing poetry is entertaining, for example sometimes when I feel down; I write poetry for pure self amusement. Second, writing poetry gives me the opportunity to revive happy memories. It is through poetry that I can recall all the past good moments I enjoyed. Third, this hobby is very useful for me because through writing I learn new vocabulary. It also helps me discover and practise new expressions and styles. For these reasons, writing poetry is the most exciting hobby for me.
