Theresa's sketch of Ciara (will be updated!)
At a first glance, Ciara Bryant is a normal, lawabiding,

Ginny is tough, both physically and mentally. She, along with Seamus Finnigan and Ria Johnson, is a first string chaser on the Gryffindor Quidditch team. She has further honed her physical abilities through numerous confrontations with the Mrrgan and grueling Auror training. Mentally, Draco Malfoy describes Ginny as, "the only girl in this school who's anywhere near as smart as I am" (ch. 9). He adds the caveat that Ginny's intelligence isn't book-smart, as Hermione's is. However, Ginny is quite good at academics as well, being top in her class at Defence Against the Dark Arts and Transfiguration (ch. 1).

Ginny also proves herself to be quick on her feet in Epilogue part three, when she engages Draco in a Shakespearean battle of wits and then carries off a very creative escape from attacking Death Eaters. She considers herself to be uncommonly well read, and would have liked to attend University but was unable to do so because of her Auror career (ep. 2).

Emotionally, however, Ginny is at a disadvantage. She carries deep, enduring scars from her experience in the Chamber of Secrets. Ginny suffered through a massive betrayal at a very young age, and has never fully recovered from it. This leads to various commitment problems on her part; when Harry begins to develop feelings for her, she wants nothing to do with him. The idea of opening up to someone else terrifies her more than anything else; to Ginny, vulnerable is a deadly insult. She is secretive, somewhat cynical, and hates personal comments, unsolicited advice, and being the centre of attention. She never offers explanations or justifications for her behaviour and, as a matter of personal policy, will not discuss Harry with anyone who isn't Harry (ch. 9).
