X Marks The Spot

Tools needed

PSP- I used V8 but it should work with all.

Tube of choice- I used the wonderful work of Suzanne Woolcott. Please do not use her work unless you have a license to do so. You can purchase her art from GorjussArt

Font of choice- I used BadaBoom BB which can be found HERE

Preset Shape of choice--preferably an X

Filter-Xenofex 2-Rip Open-- This is optional

Scrapkit- A Pirate's Life For Me which can be downloaded from Monti's Pixel Playground

Scrapkit is used with permission from Monti at Monti's Pixel Playground 

*Please when downloading this kit leave a thankyou for Monti on her tag board* 

Ok.Lets get started..

1. Open up a new image 550 x 5500, flood fill with white

2. Preset shape-colour of choice,size of choice I used one of the papers for the top.. Convert to raster and duplicate

3. Move the duplicate below the original and gaussian blur 10.

4. Add a filter of choice or leave blurred. I used Xenofex rip open with the settings below.. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS OPTIONAL.

5. Drop shadow the original shape.

6. Add any embellishments of your choice.

7. Copy and paste your tube as a new layer giving it a drop shadow

8. Add your name and any other text..I also added some noise to my name.

9. Dont forget to add your �Information and watermark.
