POSTCARD BARB

Tools needed
PSP- I used version 9 but it should work with all.
Animation Shop
Filter/s- VM Toolbox-Motion Trail Wild, XERO-Porcelain
Tubes of choice- I used the art of Barbara Jensen who is a PTU artist, you can purchase her art from her site HERE. You MUST have a license to use her art.
Font/s of choice
My Stamp Frame HERE . Do not use anywhere else without my permission please.
This tutorial may be a bit long as there is a few steps.
Ok.Lets get started.
STEP ONE- POSTAGE STAMP
1. Open my supplied postage stamp frame in psp
2. Magic wand inside of it and go to selections, modify expand by 1,
3. Layers new raster layer and flood fill with white, move this below the frame, keep selected
4. Open a flower tube or any other tube of choice, you can either go to layers, new raster layer and paste into selection or
5. Resize your tube and paste as a new layer and position the bit you want on the stamp, if doing this option, on your frame layer go to selections, invert and hit delete on the tube layer, select none and merge visable.
6. Select your font tool. black size 12 and clear font of choice, add your postage amount and convert to raster,
7.repeat this and add your country's name and move it to the bottom of the frame, convert to raster. merge visable and set aside for now.
STEP TWO- POSTCARD BACK
1. Open a new transparent image 450 X 300. Image add borders 3 symmetric black
2. Promote to background layer and magic wand the white section, and hit delete,
3. keeping selection, layers new raster layer and floodfill with white, move this layer to the bottom. and select none
4. Select your pen tool black, 2.00 and draw out a line down the page, see mine for position and conver to raster.
5. bring your stamp back up and edit copy and paste as a new layer on the image we are working on, position in the top right corner
6.Now select your pen tool again, same settings as before and draw 3 or 4 lines underneath your stamp, giving a nice space between each.
7. Open up a tube of choice(must be same artist from the stamp) and paste as a new layer and position on the left side of the image, resize if needed, change to opacity settings to about 50%
8.Now add some text, See mine for reference,
9. Also on this image you need to add your � Information and please make sure it can be read.
10. Now is a good time to save your progress as a png or psp file so you dont lose all your hard work so far.
STEP THREE POSTCARD FRONT
1. Open a new transparent image 450 X 300. Image add borders 3 symmetric black
2. Promote to background layer and magic wand the white section, and hit delete,
3. keeping selection, layers new raster layer and floodfill with a color from your tube, move this layer to the bottom. and select none
4. On your paper layer add some filter effects of choice, I used the following if your would like to use the same. I used a texture of choice, unfortunately i cant share the one i used as its from a PTU script.
5. I then used the blind effect with the following settings

6. I then used VM Toolbox Motion Trail Wide with the following settings

7. Now add a new raster layer, open your main tube of choice,copy and paste into selection.
8. On your tube layer go to xero porcelain and use the following settings,

9. Select none and unsharp mask any settings on your tube.
10. Add your text and also � Information again, merge visable
STEP FOUR ANIMATION
1.Now here comes the animation part. on the image youve just been working on go to edit copy and paste as a new animation in animation shop.
2. bring you postcard back up and edit copy merged and paste after current frame in animation shop
3.now select the first frame and go to effects, insert image transistion and choose your transition of choice, I used fade.
4. Now go to select all, animation frame properties and change the setting to 80.
5. View animation and if your happy go to file save as and follow the prompts!
