Mosaic Blur Welcome

Tools needed

PSP- I used version 9 but it should work with all.

Tube of choice- I am using the awesome work of Jody Bergsma.You can view her work HERE

Font/s of choice: I used Tahoma Bold and Riesling

No outside Filters are used.


Lets get started!!!
 
1. Open a new transparent image 500x 500
2. Open your tube of choice,copy and paste as a new layer on your transparent image.
3. Duplicate your tube.
4. On the bottom tube go to Adjust,Blur,Gaussian Blur and use the settings below, Click ok

5. Staying on the same layer go to Effects,Texture Effect,Mosaic Antique and use the settings below.

6. On the same layer again, go to Effects, texture effects,Mosaic Glass and use the following settings below.Click Ok

7.Resize this layer by 90%
 
8.Now click on the top layer and resize this by 70%
 
9.Below is what your tag should look like.

10. Merge Visable and move it up near the top of your transparent image so you have room for your text.
 
11. Now for the text. For the welcome text i used Tahoma Bold Size 71, Stroke width 1.0. Fore ground Black and background null.
 
12. Type out the word you want. Stretch it out to your liking using the nodes. Convert to raster.This is what you should have now.
13. Now grab your magic wand and use the settings below.

14. Click inside of each letter.

15. Paste your tube as a new layer. Move the tube to where you would like it showing in your text.

16.Go to Selections, Invert and delete. Select none.

17. This is what you should have so far

18. Grab your text tool again. I used Riesling size 72, Stroke width 0, colour 95B0D0 and type out your name and put it where you would like.Stretch it out if you need too. I put mine at the top right of the tag.

19. Add a slight drop shadow. I used the following settings.

20. Add your copyright and watermark to the tag.

21.Merge all Flatten

22. Resize if needed. I resized mine using the following settings. But yours may be slightly different.

23. Crop your tag if needed.

24.File, Save as. save as a jpeg or png

25. Your done!!
