Tools needed
PSP- I used version 9 but it should work with all.
Animation Shop
Filter- DSB Flux Bright Noise, Eyecandy 4000 Gradient Glow(Optional
Tube of choice- I used to work of Keith Garvey who is a PTU artist. His work can be brought at MPT. You MUST have a license to use his art.
Mask- I used WSL_Mask3 which can be downloaded at the link HERE under downloads.
(Mask is used with permission from Chelle at Weescotslass)
Embellishment-Wrench.
The wrench comes from a scrapkit called FIX-IT
which you can download from Goddess's Site. This is used with permission from Goddess at Goddess Dezines Scraps
Supplies
HERE. This includes my Gear bolt which i made in PSP with a preset shape,gradient and misc filters. Also supplied is the background, this is supplied with permission from my friend Eye at
ScrapbookMax.
Font of choice or the one i used which is called GE Tooltime and can be found
at Fonts101.
Ok.Lets get started..
1. Open a new image 550 x 550 and floodfill with white.
2. Open up your paper and set it as a pattern Angle 0 and Scale 100.
3. Layers new layer and floodfill with the pattern.
4. Open up your mask, layers new mask layer from image, find your mask, invert mask data. delete mask layer and merge group. move the opacity to 64
5. Open up my gear/nut and paste as a new layer and position
6. Duplicate and resize by 50% and move the duplicate into position, merge visable the 2 layers.
7. Copy and paste your tube as a new layer, position and give it a drop shadow
8. Open up the wrech included, select around it, copy and paste as a new layer on your working area. Resize by 50% 2 times.
9. Position it and duplicate 2 more times and position.
11. Add your �Information
12. Add your text. I used the following. GE ToolTime size 72, 2.0. Foregeound black and background a silver gradient of choice. I also added a gradient glow to bring it out more and added a slight dropshadow.
13. Click on your gear/bolt layer, select all, float and defloat. duplicate 2 times for a total of 3 layers.
14. on the first filters dsb flux with settings at 20 mix and click ok
15. Second layer same as above but click mix once and ok
16. Third layer same as above but click mix 2 times and then ok
17. Now is the time to crop your image and resize if needed.
18. Hide your top 2 gear/bolt layers and edit copymerged and paste as a new animation in animation shop
19. Back to psp, hide first gear/bolt layer and unhide middle layer, edit copy merged and paste after current frame in animation shop
20. back to psp, hide middle layer and open top layer, repeating the above steps
21. View Animation
22. File Save as and follow the steps.
YOUR DONE!
