MONTGOMERY HIGH GEOGRAPHY TRIP TO SCARBOROUGH '92

Back in 1992, Miss Skiffington and Mr Apsden took a bunch of yr8's on a geography trip to Scarborough.I recently found a video from this trip and just had to take some shots from it (some of them are better than others, but I don't care). We all look so young and thankfully I don't think there's a shell suit in site. You can click on some for a bigger version.

The trip started off great with a visit to Flamingo Land on the way, but then we got there. The whole week was great, but of course we had to do work.We did have fun though and even the boring visits had their funny moments. There was the Yorvik Viking Centre. It stank to high heaven. The York Dungeons, a perfect place to satisfy the morbid fascinations of the 12 year old mind.

Our trip to Whitby will always remind me of lots of walking, lots of steps up a big hill and lots of schoolwork. We even visited the village where Heartbeat is filmed, but we still had to do work nearby.Lots of sketches, standing in the wind while we measured its speed and having to dodge sheep droppings when finding somewhere to sit.We also visited a war camp museum, but we had more fun on the playground at the end.Ah memories.

I'd also like to thank Matty Hunt for making a trip down a mine at Beamish turn from one of the most boring moments into one of the funniest. He had me in stitches the whole time.Anyway, heres some more pics.
