Not long ago I was hunting for Vandread images in the internet and I stumbled upon a Steel Angel Kurumi website. I found out that the characters were robot girls which was similar with Saber Marionette, I am a fan of the Saber Marionettes so I became interested with them. At that time I felt hopeless that I will never get to watch anything from this interesting anime because it is not popular in my area. The real story of how I got this excellent piece of collection began with my 16 hours stopover in Dubai, I had a hard time going through the immigration that time but I eventually got out. My Sister who was staying there greeted me at the airport and we went around the city just mall hopping ^_^ I was actually looking for a particular computer hardware when we stopped by at an electronics shop. I was just browsing around their stuff when one rack caught my attention, It was an all out anime video rack! my thoughts suddenly flew away to La-La Land with all the anime goodies I am seeing at the moment. They got mostly all of the coolest animes on video and they are all in collector's edition boxes! AAAAAH! Just thinking back with what I saw makes me freak out because I didn't have enough money to buy all of them! I only had 200.00 USD on my pocket and I have used up 75 bucks buying other DVD's (I got the ultimate "Back to the Future" DVD box set there too!). This whole box set costs approx. 100.00 USD! For a guy like me that price is outrageous! But I had the chance to choose only one box set and right in the middle of the pile I saw the Ultimate Steel Angel Kurumi DVD Collection. The moments at the internet cafe came back to my memory, as I sat there in front of the computer sighing and said to myself "I wish I could see that anime..." as if I was in a trance I grabbed it and went straight to the counter. The lady at the counter smiled at me as she looks at the DVD collection as if she was saying "excellent choice sir!", I avoided looking back at the rack because I might be tempted to buy another set and I may have came back home broke. It's a great find, I won't be able to buy this kind of collection in my area ^_^
