THOUGHTS ON THE GOLDBACH CONJECTURE

GC: Every even number (N) is the sum of two odd primes (P_i) & (P_j).

HYPOTHESIS: Every prime less than can be one of the two summing primes.

Let P_max be the largest prime less than N. Then D = N - P_max.

Define D = 1,3,5, ...

If D is a prime number, then P_max + D = N.  Therefore D cannot be prime.

Let D = 1. Then there is a chain of successively smaller primes that must
exist if N is not generated
