| Strengths | The tallest player of the bunch, can literally tower over everyone. His ability to make the outside shot makes him a harder player to guard. He's a very reliable 15-21 foot shooter. Has significantly bulked up for this summer's tournament. | |
| Weaknesses | He needs to work on his post game as it will be necessary as the season progresses. He must also acquire stronger hands to get rebounds and getting drop passes as well. Sometimes, a bit moody, he needs to exert himself on the court, playing hard basketball from tip to buzzer. Hopefully, Canada didn't get him out of shape. | |

| Strengths | Maybe I should have written Yao Ming / Shaquille O'Neal in Alven's NBA Player Comparison considering how he has combined both size and strength by working out during the off-season. This combination, along with his shooting and soft touch, make him the number one offensive option in the post for Team Bee-Have. If only he practices at training camp. | |
| Weaknesses | Like Yao (and Shaq), Alven's primary weakness is his speed. Defensively, better footwork and toughness, together with his shot-blocking, would also make him the number one DEFENSIVE presence in the paint. If only he practices at training camp. | |
