Interior Mods |
I feel that a cars interior is one of the most important aspects. If you are not comfortable when you are driving you will perform a lot worse when racing, this is especially true when you are road racing, autoX racing, or out in the mountains having a grip session. I have made thought out and carefully selected series of mods to my interior. |

At only 16 lbs and $250 the Corbeau Forza is one of the best bargains out there when it comes to racing seats. It also happens to fit me perfectly. I coupled this seat with a bracket by Wedge Engineering to install it into my NX. |

Having a seat is great, but without a harness it doesn't perform as well as it could. For my harness I chose a Sparco 3 pt for 3 reasons....it was cheap, it is a good brand, and its readily available. With the harness installed the differance is incredible, slam on the brakes, you don't move, take a turn at a high rate of speed you don't move. If you like driving these two items are a must have! |

My interior has a tastefull amount of wieght reduction, all of the sound deadening, the firewall blanket, rear seats have been removed. That sound deadening is a PAIN IN THE ASS. In the end I think it was worth it though. I have no spare and no tools or jack in there. The rear wiper/motor has also been removed. This weight reduction adds up to a nice boost in speed. I painted all the bare metal black to make it look a little bit more presentable. The picture belowe is outdated.... |
