Engine Mods |
Because of "Project PSSHHH!" the engine mods I can make without wasting my money are few and far between. So I have just done the basics until I get my DET in. |

For my Intake I chose to make my own custom WAI. When looking for cone filters to use, the choice was easy...Perrin is the way to go. They are located very close to my house and produce top notch Subaru/EVO/SRT4/Mini products. I combined their filter with my ghetto MAF adpater. Viola, instant intake. |

For my exhaust I bought a Top Speed muffler from PRE and had custom 2.5" mandrel bent piping made from the cat back. I highly reccomend Top Speed products to anyone. |

Without a good spark an engine won't make good power. With this in mind I bought the best of the best when it came to Plugs and Wires, NGK. A piece of advise when buying plugs for your SR20DE, don't buy the fancy plugs, cause with this motor plain old BKR6ES11's work best! |

SR20DETs tend to overheat in the NX because of the lack of grill. To prevent this from happening there are several things you can do, one of the easy and cheap ones is the buy an upgraded radiator cap. It is rated at 16 psi, and greatly reduces chances of overheating. |

At one point I was also using a Pacesetter(crapsetter) Header, I had more problems with it than it was worth, and it did me no good since I can't use it on the turbo motor...so I sold it. |
