BIO: NAME started manipulating noise and radio snippets under the moniker Grind Aldous around 1993. As time went by, the group gained access to better equipment and computer software that opened new doors; allowing them to trek across more dynamic and versatile avenues. Inspired by various electronic and experimentally-minded musicians, they changed their name to Dark Waters Of Szandor in late 1997 and set out to produce quality original electronic music with the spirit of experimentalism in modern avant-garde music and art. NAME, under the D/W/O/S moniker has released two full-length albums, both of which have been reviewed in Boston-based electronic music publication Digital Artifact. Airplay of D/W/O/S' music as well as a radio interview has been achieved through local Louisville, KY. station WLRS 105.1 FM. D/W/O/S has been featured in the June 2001 Leo music magazine, a virtual who's WHO in Louisville's diverse music scene.

OLD NEWS UPDATES: D/W/O/S are currently working with local art rock/electro group: Ayin, remixing each others tracks for a potential remix album release. Also, D/W/O/S are busy constructing material for a future full-length release. OLD UPDATE: DWOS will have a track featured on an upcoming compilation by record label Lunaticworks!.
