Exhausted today.. Hour and a half sleep before driving down into Hotlanta didn't help.. Go figure.. :)

Am involved in something a little different and really cool, the Peer Support Project for PWDs.. Had some refresher today down at the disABILITY LINK, a center for independent living (CIL) in Decatur, Georgia.. I always somehow come away revived on some level after visiting with my friends down there.. :)

In parting, a little "Senior Humor" from a recent CMT-Support member posting.. I know, we've probably all heard it, before but it was still cute..

A distraught senior citizen phoned her doctor's office. "Is it true," she wanted to know, "that the medication you prescribed has to be taken for the rest of my life?"

"Yes, I'm afraid so," the doctor told her.

There was a moment of silence before the senior lady replied, "I'm wondering, then, just how serious is my condition because this prescription is marked 'NO REFILLS.'"

Afterthought of a Weather Report: Not too thrilled about the tinkle, tinkle on the roof right now.. Since it's not, like, 30 degrees outside for a change right now, my very upset tummy says it's hail.... Sigh...
