Reminded me of tracking down the little telltale trails of a couple of twister-like little beasties that apparently went straight through our property during .. One little touchdown spot in particular was several, *several* good feet in diameter..

That day, we were able to follow the path right up to the property line as the little creature had touched down then lifted a little repeatedly, appearing to almost drag its little life-wrenching foot from one touchdown spot to another.. The path led straight to the house that was that day laying half completely folded in around itself with a humongous hundreds-year-old ficus fully down to one side such that it cradled the remaining part of the house in its grounded canopy..

"And your point is?" one might ask. The point is that, after standing there footstep after footstep in amazement, in wonderment of what we had just found, we went down to the one (public pay) phone hooked up at the time and dutifully stood patiently waiting our turn to use our few minutes allotment to report the same..

Sur-prise, sur-prise, sur-prise.. We were blown off bigtime by those couple of entities we could think to call only to come back to the property to hear repeated newscasts that at the time glared, "There were surprisingly NO associated with this ."

So just what the H-e-double-toothpicks were we all tracking after the fact that day, then..?

Our very vivid imaginations, I presume..

From the CivilRights.org Daily Buzz..
