Amongst the gazillion other emails I've found today, I got my first Free Comic Book Day invitation. Of note, I'm seriously surprised this email made it all the way into my Inbox past all the spam filters that let the umpteen "free" mentions go unheeded.. :\

Then, almost trashed the email without opening, it's been so long since I signed up.. Memory's slowly coming back on it, though.. Seems that I found them like the very day after last year's Free Comic Book Day.. Heck, it could have even been the year before for all this Mind remembers anymore. :)

So, anyway, Free Comic Book Day coming to a soon-to-be swamped comic book merchandise vendor near you, Saturday, May 6, 2006.. Time to start lining up nieces and nephews surreptitiously with them being the primary reason we all will be standing in line that day. Yeah, right, right? :D
