A cyber rerun of a first instinct response to the 360 Blog of the Day question, "The one song that underscores the defining moment in my life is.."

Very hard for me to ever pick one of *anything*.. Songs like Lee Ann Womack's "I Hope You Dance" and Tim McGraw's "Live Like You Were Dying" immediately come to mind when someone says, "Pick a favorite."

But.. Just a few days ago typed out a song request for what *probably* really is my favorite song:

Martina McBride's "She's A Butterfly"..

It's been my 360 Blast all along.. With this one, it's the words that get me as I've only actually heard it sung once, ONE time a few years ago.. Up above me in Ellijay, they were holding the Morgan Cantrell Memorial Heart Fund Show for the American Heart Association.. As I walked in to sit down (late as usual, argh), there was this very young lady up on stage alone singing one of the most wonderful songs I'd ever heard.. It turned out to be Martina's "She's A Butterfly"..

To me, "She's A Butterfly" is so very poignant because the butterfly and how Martina portrays it through her beautiful words represents any number of the very fragile Lives out there right now..

Long as I have the screen for a nanosecond and a half, this is a written dedication to those Lives and everyone who supports them for, as long as you all are there to (occasionally) help make sure those delicate wings never touch the ground, there remains tremendous Hope for a better quality everything in this Life..

PS.. As I'm fixin' to hit the "Post" button, no fib, here comes "Live Like You Were Dying".. Gotta love Life's sense of humor.. :)
