Having never been as active on a blog resource as I have been on 360, I'm really not sure what is considered kosher and what is not with respect to how one handles one's posted material.. To that end, it's my blog and I'll alter if I want to (within reason, of course).. :D

Soooo.. Just changed out the pic on BIG Tree Go BOOM.. Really was a little Bug.. Poor thing, didn't stand a chance.. The silver lining would be that it could have been much worse, not to mention could have taken out my old truck to boot..

Image is not the best, but pretty durn good for a less than $20 digital camera.. A little pink Argus.. If my arms were long enough, I might be able to read the model number on the bottom.. Looks like it says "DC 1620".. Actually, it does, but the Argus website shows QC 1620..

If one was stuck in an emergency and just needed a couple of backup pics, the DC 1620/QC 1620 would do the trick **IF**..

• You put BRAND NEW batteries in (want as much battery life as you can get)
• Set the resolution to "high"
• Take, say, ten or fifteen, maybe even 20, of the most important pics you want
• Make ABSOLUTELY sure you do nothing to disrupt the battery power to the camera (or you WILL lose the images you just painstakingly took)
• Download onto a computer as soon as possible (requires their special software)

Definitely worked in a pinch today while my Fuji Finepix is "sick" and in desperate need of repair.. Sure can't complain about the quality of the images I got for what I paid for the Argus.. 'Course that's being said having not seen samples from the couple of others available in that miniscule price range, either, though.. :)
