Right now work is slow on the house due to financial difficulties.  The south roof is nearly complete. I have the new decking and felt in place. Upon reomving the roofing and partitions which created the covered porch I discovered origanel scroll work still in near perfect condition.  With this finding I beleive I will not rebuild the roof section over the front porch.  Also to my releif I found out that the damage done inside the walls was not from termites but to carpenter ants.  I found the differance between the two is that the termites leave no trace evidence behind while the carpenters leave waste material behind in the form of very fine sawdust.  I soon hope to have new photos of the progress up for view by next week.
