Entry for August 13, 2006

Hello Everyone.

Welcome to the Empowerment Radio Blog. I invite you to input your feedback here, create comments, dialog, and general opinions for each of our shows. We welcome your input, and want to foster critical dialog about the issues, the only caveat I ask is that you respect other listeners and refrain from critical or other mean spirited comments about the person.

And tune in, live at 5 each Thursday for another great segment of Empowerment Radio.

Here's the top ten most provocative questions we face regarding real change in society. Please tell us what you think and we'll mention it on the air...

1. Would you still want to know what the real problems were regarding world issues if by knowing the problems it made you sad, angry, destablized, or fearful?

2. Would you want to know how to take responsibility if it meant changing your lifestyle?

3. Would you pay more for products and services if you knew it would sustain the local economy in the long term?

4. Do you ignore the news because it's depressing?

5. If standing up for what is right meant quitting your job or confronting some of your friends, would you do it?

6. If you knew beyond a shadow of a doubt, that a politician lied, was corrupt, stealing money, or dishonest in some other way, would you stand up and speak out if it meant putting your life or your reputation on the line?

7. If someone you knew personally was committing a crime like abusing their own child, would you stand up to them?

8. Would you be willing to apply social pressure upon people who are contributing to global warming?

9. Do you think that people will change their ways before we go through complete and utter collapse?

10. Do you think corporations should be held to account for their actions?
