A Path Paved by Destiny

Prologue

Many years ago the Khushrenada family took over Riddion, the country of which the Catalonia had ruled for several hundred years. They were both family and have been fighting for power for a very long time. Only recently has the Khushrenada family taken over.

Heir to the throne was Treize Khushrenada. He was an intelligent, quick, charming young man and the country loved him. The only problem was his desire for more power and more land as he conquered the land surrounding his kingdom.

Slowly, over the years, he took over each and every province and land he could get his hands on and Riddion became a great place. Except that small wars broke out all over the place. There were many rebels who were against Khushrenada's power and refused to accept him as their king.

Khushrenada tried to fight this rebellion but it was very difficult and it took some time and energy so the young king ceased to conquer more lands as he focused on trying to control the ones he already had. He needed to have an iron grip over his country before anything else.

He was a strong king and had many rebellions extinguished before his twenty-third birthday.

But it still did not cease the continious rebellion and everything turned into slaughter. An old woman found half dead in an un-named town prophesied that the sole survivor of a great family of people would soon come and take the throne from him before dropping dead among her own people. The prohecy didn't seem to scare the young king but it made him nervous. He began to wipe out all the strong families that posed as a threat to him, thus adding to the constant blood shed.

After making sure that his throne was secure and no one was going to come and try to overthrow him, he continued his campaign to bring all countries under his rule.

Little did he know that there *was* a survivor and he shall rise to take control of a throne that is, by destiny, rightfully his.

And thus begins our tale...
