Picture of the Civic after removing the trunk lid for sanding and primer. The gas door had holes rusted through it so I'm going to need to scavange for one at the junkyard |

This is the drivers side with the doors off just before I started stripping the paint. I am planning on "shaving" the blue tag with the vin # and relocating it either under the hood or on the trunk lid. |

Here is the car a few days after the initial stripping and primer was complete. That's my sisters 98 Civic Hx in the background. |

A rear end shot with bumper and taillight assembly removed. Shortly after this picture was taken, I shaved the holes where the "H" and "Civic" emblems attached. It is also the same dark grey primer color as the other side of the car. |

There it is with the shaved emblems and another coat of primer. Didn't take too much to do this, just grabbed some bondo (the blue kind) and filled in the holes. I'll get a shot of the trunk lid next week. I filled the gaps of the trunk lid brace with expanding foam and am bondo'ing the entire surface smooth, not as easy as I thought, but the results should be worth it all. |

This is Just a test spray. Its basicaly just Ford Blue. Im thinking either this blue (or royal blue) and flatblack/glossblack. I still need to figure out all the body lines that i want to follow for the colors. |

Here is the partially painted drivers side of the car. The inside of the gas door will be black along with the interior.
