Here is the engine before ANY work started on it. It was some nasty stuff: layers of dust, pine needles, and corrosion. |

Here is a picture after I took out the radiator and took the front bumper off. It was pretty bad. The grim from years of neglect had built up to 1/4" and in some spots it was at least 1/2" of gunk. |

Here is the stock carb assembly. It's foomard up. After I took it out i just chucked it in a pile of junk, along with all the vacuum lines, and black boxes. |

Here's the block. Rusted pistons and cylinders...not too good. Just about everything is out of the engine bay, just need to get the brake booster, transmission, and block out and then i can start the cleaning, bondo work, and painting. |
