Its been a while. Over the past eight months or so I haven't gotten a whole lot done. I've gotten most of the car primed, foamed a good amount of the interior, started repainting some panels, got some new vaccum hose's cuz a few runnin to and from the carb were disentigrated. I hacked off the exhaust right before it goes over the rear axle, readjusted the fuel mixture ratio, readjusted my timing (the right way), got a new left turn signal from an 85 gt, clear corner (now i just need to get the right side signal). Shyte has been cool, dunno if im gonna keep this site going, i dont get enough hits to care that much about it, but we'll see. -Later

I got that PCV valve and grommet in a couple weeks ago but did have a little problem getting the old hose to fit snugly, so i went out and got one (none pre-formed) from Napa for about a buck. i need to get another hose because i stupidly cut the excess before i put on the air filter assembly, so i cut it rather short since i did not account for that air filter stuff, so its tight and flow may be restricted, but it still runs, the cylinders look pretty good, timing chain may need to be replaced, oil change is in order, im in the process of gettin the exhaust manifold off right now, but all the nuts and a couple bolts are rusted to shit, i torqued the two bolts off at the head, and one nut is not comin off, some WD-40 should help me out there, i'll post when i get that done.
Not much has been done since my last post, the weather has been crappy. I did, however, check the timing, which is almost dead on the mark. I think i am going to advance it a little and see how things go. I some how bumped off my pcv valve thing, couldnt get it back on, bought a new one (and a new grommet), but havent been able to get the old grommet and metal thing out. So whenever i get the chance, i'll be taking off the head cover and poping it out from there, i'll probably do a little cleaning of the head cover as well. Sweet engine nugat.
I just tested those new gauge lights and i am diapointed. they say xenon blue, but they are hyper white'ish. They cost 4.44 for two, and i have eight, you do the math. im pissed but insted of trying to get a refund, im just going in and changing the backlighting with transpartent colored plastic. i'll have some pics when im done.
Not much has been goin on, too cold and wet. i did, however, get one of the visors carpeted, and i did change the gauge lights.
i got a new fuel filter on today as well as some battery terminal cleaners... yahoo. i also got some upholstry cleaner, and cleaned up the seats a bit, im still not sure whether or not i should get some seat covers or just aim for getting a pair of supra seats. a friend and i flushed the radiator and filled it up, also got a new dist. cap and rotor as well as new (7.5mm) wires.
yesterday i took off the sparkplugs and airfliter aparatus. today i got some sparkplugs and a new airfilter. nothing fancy, just some splitfires and a Pennzoil airfliter. i got those installed. i also took my battery to schucks to have it checked since it was dead. when recharging it, though, it boiled over, so i got a free new battery.(i know why it boiled over too)hehehe, suckers...and i am in the process of cleaning out the engine compartment.
Last night i got my car under cover as to prevent further rusting. i also found that the car is running exceptionaly hot, the water gauge is almost in the red just from idling...hopefully i can get it figured out this weekend.
