I was too young to remember the USFL in detail. I just remember thinking
of it as "the spring league". Thanks for keeping it alive for us young

Long live the U.S.F.L.!!! The Wranglers were my 2nd favorite team in
the U.S.F.L. (my favorite was the Breakers). Living in Michigan, I did
get to see two Wrangler games in the Pontiac Silverdome against the Michigan
Panthers.

Great site! I was there in 1984 with the "New Wranglers" of Coach Allen
(Western Conference Champions) as Asst. Eqpt Mgr and also in 1985 with
the "Outlaws" as Head Eqpt Mgr. Those were the greatest of times with great
fans, a great city and some extrao dinary players and coaches who put up
with lots of adverse conditions (heat,night practices,looooong days). Thanks

Too bad the USFL didn't last and merge with the NFL. Those games were
great and I'll always miss the teams and players!!! If anyone out there

We love the USFL. I got to 2 games, The 1985 Championship at Giant
stadium and a Monday night game, Wranglers v.s. Blitz at Chicago. Only
about 5500 attended to call George Allen "Benedict Allen" after the franchise
switch. 3 best looking team uniforms we e ranglers, Blitz, Bulls. Miss
you.

I knew a guy that played for the band that was in the south endzone.
His name is Bill Bellimak. "The Gringos". Those games were so much fun!
Back when a football league had the huevos to have FUN! I wish the Cardinals
would wear the unis of the Wranglers! Even the Rattlers have nice unis!
