This game took place on a random map, I was Allies(America) and he was Soviets(Iraq). It was a medium-large map I was on the bottom right he was on the top left. After having built up everything but tech and a firm economy he rushed me with 4 or so rhinos and 1 flak, I fought off the attack just barly with my 5 grizzleys and he also managed to kill one of my ore trucks which hit me hard, he than rushed me shortly after with 3 rhinos and he managed to take out my con yard, war factory and ore refinery. All I had left was a barracks, power plant and an AFC. I had scouted his base with my left over miners and seen that he had only 1 rhino and 1 ore truck so he must of been broke and had no economy for late game. I used all my remaining money to make G.I.s and knowing I had very little chance I was tempted to give up, but I went on. After having built 20 GIs and after attacking his base with a few sets of paratroopers, I send my GIs for a final boute. He had very few constripts and only 1 rhino, he also had a sentry gun. So I attack with a little more than 20 Gis and and hit him hard! He tried to run over my GIs but he failed to take out enough before the rhino was dead. I destroyed the only sentry gun he had next to his war factory and the few constripts he had and paradropped into his back door, hitting his power and them and sending 3 or so rocketters that I made and took out everything except his con yard, which I usually save for last, but he undeployed and ran. At the moment I was afraid that he would run to my base and build a small base and destroy mine before I could destroy his, since the Gis are slower than the MCV he would make it back before I could kill it.But for some reason he redeployed it no to far from his base and I finished it off with the GIs. Even with very little resource, against a soviets with all his important buildings vs non of mine I still came out with a victory. This goes to show you to never give up! |
