CANYON FODDER (3 PLAYER)
SETTING AND BRIEF MAP DESCRIPTION
Its a small island map with 3 starting points. No tech buildings.Middle of map as a large patch of gems with each starting position as a broken repairable bridge connecting the middle. 2 small ore located near starting points. Left most starting point has a distinct advantage over the other starting positions
General strategy for Cannon Fodder
I rate this map at about a 7 out of 10 as far as QM maps go

I recommend Soviets for this map due to its ability to kill scouts and engys while mining the centrally located gems
First thing you need to do as soon as barracks is up is send a few dogs to the middle of map to secure it, than send an engineer to the middle to repair the bridge so that your miners can get to the middle and collect the gems quickly. Remember to build your ore refinery close to the bridge. After the middle is secured send your remaining dogs to scout out the enemy's base. And don't let your opponent repair his bridge. Then build a few tanks to protect your miners because your opponect is probably going to try to attack your miners because its his only real change of winning since hes losing the money battle.

Build order-Deploy- Pow- Bar(3 dogs at least and 1 engy)-Ore ref toward the bridge and direct miners toward center gems-Radar-War Factory(1-2 ore trucks) tanks then for:

Allies-make a few grizzleys and an IFV(if playing allies) to protect miners and rocketters are extreemly useful in this map, use them to harrass enemy ore trucks and kill scouts and engys, pry to attack early becuase of the one choke point can allow your enemy to camp.

Soviets-
your best bet is to build a few rhinos ASAP and start attacking ore trucks, and if your enemy got the middle send a few terror drones into the center to kill ore trucks. A kirov may work well since the bases are fairly close together. But the idea is to capture the middle and out-economy your opponet

ANOTHER IMPORTANT NOTE: The left most position has the best shot at securing the middle since the path to the middle is alot closer than any other starting point.

The person that gets the middle to himself has about a 75% chance of winning since the money advantage is huge, but the key is to defend your trucks in the middle while miners because they are very exposed.
