Christmas has always been my favorite holiday. I love the Christmas spirit. I love the sights, sounds, and aromas of Christmas. It's a time for families and friends to gather together. A time to share the joy and spirit of the season, to laugh, and a time to remember Christmases past.
I love searching for the perfect gift for each person on my list. I watch their eyes light up and the smiles upon their faces as they open their gifts. I begin shopping for next years gifts as soon as Christmas has passed. This way I can avoid the stress of last minute shopping and spread the expense over the year. This leaves me free to relax and enjoy the season.
It can sometimes be difficult to get into the Christmas spirit when the temperatures are still in the 80's. I realize that those who live in the colder climates would probably welcome the warmer weather. I also believe that after a while they would miss the changing seasons. We don't have Autumn or a real Winter down here. I would love to have one white Christmas in my life. I love the colors of Autumn and the crisp, envigorating air of Winter.
