The Player
You were so smooth, talking the talk
saying what everyone wanted to hear
But come to find out in the end
you couldnt walk the walk you spoke of in your talk

Saying pleasing words, coated sugary sweet
to worm your way into the hearts on the mend
Now those words, are sickening sweet
having broken the hearts that were mending

You know nothing of honesty, or trust
which you seemed to speak of highly
Nor do you know of love and devotion
cause if you did
would there have been so many hearts broken?

You're a player, tried and true
You're a player, no way around it
You toy with the hearts of many
cant you just leave them alone

You're a player,
You cant walk the walk
of the talk that you speak
will never again believe
any of the words that come out of your mouth

cause if the truth be spoken,
you wouldnt know what truth, honor, trust is
even if it was a snake and reached out and bit ya.
