I am able to unwind .
To be myself so freely
to not worry about anything
but pleasing the One that chose me .
He sees something in me
that no one else sees
sometimes not even me .
When i give that gift of submission to him
i feel so free
but also, i feel so loved, protected
cherished and safe .
I am able to unwind
to get rid of the mask
that i sometimes hide behind .
Not many will look behind that mask
to see the real me
to truly see way deep inside .
so in unwinding in surrender
i do willingly
cause i know that He
has my best interests at heart .
And he takes the time to look
behind that mask
and sees what lies beneath
way deep down inside of me .
So my gift to him is my willingness
to unwind in my surrender to Him
to his voice i listen
his guidance i seek
his love i need .
I give of myself
surrendering to him
so that i can
unwind in surrender
and so i can totally be .
the person i hide deep inside
behind the mask
as most people only see the mask
and not what is deep inside .
but he took the time
and looked deep inside
behind the mask
and encouraged me to
unwind in surrendering my
submission to him
so that i can be free
