Ash's Mom We get a chance to meet Ash's mom in the very first episode, when she tells Ash to get to bed or else. Ash's mom (well okay, her actual name is Delia Ketchum) is always being the concerned parent by telling Ash what to do. Whether it's making sure Ash has everything he needs (like fresh underwear), or making sure he's safe; Mrs. Ketchum is always there. She makes appearances once in a while in the show, like when Ash came home to train for the Pokemon League, and also in Pokemon the Movie 2000, and Pokemon the Movie 3. When did she ever mention anything like Ash had a father? In the second episode of course! When she was talking to Ash on the phone. Why do we never hear anything about Ash's dad? Hmmm...I wonder.
