Hi! This is my small, but accurate web page, and I hope you like it. Here's the Japanese poster for the fifth pokemon movie, or, as we now know it: Pokemon Heroes...

As for the show in Japan, they've ended the 5th season (for us it would be Master Quest) and are now on to season 6, Pokemon Advance Generation! Us Americans got to see a "sneak peek" of this season a while back one Saturday on KidsWB! This season is a lot different than the previous ones, and makes way for a lot of changes to the people Ash travels with, and the pokemon he has. It paralells the new Pokemon Ruby and Saphirre games that have just come out. If you want to learn more, I am going to have a spoilers page up a little later, where you can see pics and read about what is to come (only if you want to though).

As for news over here; the newest Pokemon games have come out and they have 100 new pokemon to get! Although some of the old pokemon are unavailable in the games (like Togepi! Oh well, at least I can still get an Azumarill!), they're still quite spectacular since they're on Game Boy Advance. Kids' WB is now playing new Pokemon episodes every Saturday of the new season of Pokemon, Pokemon: Master Quest! In the new season, Ash will get to finally participate in the Silver Competition (Johto League) on Mt. Silver, and get to meet, of course, some brand new pokemon like Blaziken! He will also meet some new friends at the league, including a special guest from the never dubbed Raikou Special.

Last weekend's Pokemon: Master Quest was starring Politoed! This was the long-awaited episode (well, for me anyway) in which Poliwhirl evolves. As it starts out, a kid (uh, can't remember his name) is battling a slew of trainers with his Poliwrath. Ash and friends see what's going on, and Ash gets excited, as usual. The kid asks the crowd around him if anyone wants to try beating his Poliwrath, and Ash steps up to the plate. But instead, Misty, also as usual, interferes and says that she should be the one to battle him. Ash, still pouting, has no choice but to agree, and so Misty sends out Poliwhirl. The battle ensues, and eventually, Poliwhirl is beaten. As our friends retire to the Pokemon Center, Ash slips on the wet floor, causing all of his things to go spilling everywhere! Misty, Brock, Pikachu, and Poliwhirl help Ash gather his things, but Poliwhirl discovers the King's Rock that Ash won at the Sumo Wrestling Competition (remember that?). It places the rock, which is shaped like a crown, on its head, and Misty returns it to its pokeball without noticing it.

The trainer with the Poliwrath seems to be experiencing his own problems though, because Team Rocket trick him into stealing his Poliwrath! Jessie poses as a fortune teller (thus the name of the episode... Outrageous Fortunes!) and tells the boy that his Poliwrath is plagued with evil and that she can get rid of it for him. He instantly complies, not wanting his Poliwrath to be hurt by evil spirits, and gives it to Jessie. Then TR do their usual and escape with his pokemon.

Of course, Ash and friends come to the rescue, and after Ash gets out Phanpy, he attempts to bring the boy's Poliwrath back. However, TR have one more trick up their sleeves, and bring out Poliwrath. But they've attached some kind of device on it that allows Jessie to control it with a remote control. Phanpy does his best to stop Poliwrath, but it's too much for him. Misty then brings out...... Politoed?? Everyone stands shocked, as Misty's Poliwhirl evolves right after it was brought out! Politoed, so overjoyed from evolving, starts shaking hands with Phanpy and dancing around. Annoyed, Misty tells it to battle, and stop dancing all over the place, but Politoed only half-listens! However, Politoed does its job, and eventually, TR goes blasting off again. So a thankful kid, and a still dancing Politoed, say good bye, and head onto Blackthorn City.

I was glad to see that Politoed's voice actually sounds decent, and that Team Rocket can still be funny after all these years. I was kinda dissapointed with Ash though. Misty's Poliwhirl totally stole and used his King's Rock, and he didn't even say much about it! It might just be me, or does Ash seem to not care much anymore about the petty things that he used to get all upset about? Hmmm, maybe Ash is starting to *gasp* grow up????!!!! Anyway, overall, a very good episode, I'd give it an 8/10
