Stuff firmly; cut the yarn leaving a long �tail�; pull the �tail� through the loop of last st; and weave the �tail� in all sts, pull firmly and fasten off.
LEAF (make 4)
With dark sage
Ch 5, sc in second ch from hook, hdc in next st, dc in next st, (hdc, ch 1) 3 times in next st, working in opposite side of base chain, dc in next st, hdc in next st, sc in next st, sl st in first sc. FASTEN OFF
FINISHING:
Cut the pipe cleaner in four equal parts, and fold in the center, shape like the stem of apple, glue to the center of apple, and glue 1 leaf.
Glue each apple to the basket. And glue the handle in place.
In the Rnd 26 of bag, weave the elastic and make a double square knot firmly.
OPPTIONAL: For hanging, you could sew a plastic ring in back of basket and glue a piece of brown pipe cleaner in back of handle for stability.
