�The androids are coming Mom!!� Gohan cried, startling them both.
Piccolo spun around, �GOHAN!! I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TO-!�
SHABOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!
The entire house erupted in one huge explosion. Piccolo pushed the boy�s mother down on the ground, covering her from the debris. Gohan took the brunt of it with a shriek of pain.
�GOHAAAN!!!!� both namekian and Chi Chi yelled over the roar of the flames.
Floating overhead, laughing menacingly was Juunangou. He gazed at the horrific sight gleefully, clapped his hands together, and took off back to the village to meet his sister. �Finally, we�re rid of those pests!!�
After the dust and smoke subsided, all that remained was a mountain of cinders. Piccolo was the first to emerge, followed by Chi Chi, who he pulled out by the back of her nightshirt. Thanks to his efforts, she wasn�t hurt aside from some scrapes and dirt.
�Where is he?!� she cried. �Where is Gohan?�
Piccolo tramped around furiously, pulling away slabs of concrete and debris, desperately searching for the boy�s power signal. He found nothing. �No�it can�t be��
Chi Chi stepped towards him, �Piccolo?�
Knees failing him, the namekian sank to the ground, shaking, �Gohan�no�NO!!!� He squeezed his eyes shut, gritting his teeth. That�s when the mother knew and fell to her knees as well.
At first, he felt a terrible sadness wash over him, threatening to break him completely. Then the rage came, a terrible blind anger. Raising his fists to the air, he screamed. As if he was a saiyajin, a massive aurora encircled his form. Chi Chi glanced up at him through her tears. �THOSE BASTARDS!!!� he shouted. �HOW DARE THEY KILL GOHAN!!! I�LL SHOW THEM!!!�
He burst into the air, his energy renewed. Not wasting a second, he took off after his pupil�s killers.
Back at the Mount Paozu Village, Juunangou joined Juuhachigou. The blonde-haired girl looked around at the immolated town. �There�s nothing here. Let�s go.� She glanced at her brother. �Did you finish off Son Gohan and Piccolo?�
�You bet I did.� He answered. �Piece of cake.�
Just then, BOOM!! Juunangou went flying into the window of a hardware store. Juuhachigou watched in shock as Piccolo dove down, yanked the android from the rubble, and began pounding his head in.
�Goodness,� she said to herself casually. �He�s fired up!�
Ignoring her completely, the furious namekian sent punch after punch at Gohan�s assassin. Winding back, he sent Juunangou flying with one powerful kick. That�s when he straightened, turning back to stare down the female android. His white aurora expanded and contracted like a person�s heart.
Clapping her hands, she smirked at him. �Very nice, namekian. You managed to strike down my brother.�
�But I�m afraid you�re still one level too little.� Juunangou added, recovering in time to appear behind him.
�You never should have killed Gohan,� Piccolo growled, voice deadly calm. Shooting out both arms towards the cyborgs, he screamed. A massive pillar of light shot out from all around him. The androids had no time to react.
After the explosion subsided, Piccolo sank to his knees, power spent. He glanced from his left to his right, hoping that that blind rage had some effect on his enemies. Just then, something caught his senses and he turned around. �Vegeta?�
Standing atop the ridge overlooking the scene was a small form, too small to be the saiyajin prince. That�s when a sudden thought crossed the namekian�s mind. �Could it really be?�
Panting heavily, covered with scrapes and cuts, Gohan landed clumsily on one knee in front of him. He smiled at the sight of his mentor. �Piccolo-san!�
�G-Gohan!� For once, the namekian warrior was as equally relieved. �You�re alive!�
Gohan suddenly froze as he heard the rubble on either side begin to move. The androids were recovering. Soon they would destroy the entire place! Sinking to one knee, Gohan slung Piccolo over his shoulders and took off into the night.
DOOM!!! As they neared the cave, the two heard what was left of the city erupt into oblivion.

The danger gone, Piccolo, Gohan, and Chi Chi found themselves in the cave that Goku had pointed out to keep Icarus in. Chi Chi watched from the opposite wall as Gohan slowly drifted off, his head propped up against Piccolo�s leg. The namekian gazed down at him, a soft smile on his face. The wife of Goku knew he was glad that he�d survived such a horrible attack. She felt a bit of respect towards him at that moment. He cared for the demi-saiyajin in the same way she did. She knew now that she could trust him
