2. A Vain Attempt- Up at the Lookout, Goku and Gohan sense that Piccolo's been taken out by Cell. Gohan instantly begins crying and tries to escape to help his friend, but his father holds him back. Later, Goku finds him and Gohan manages to get him a senzu bean in time.
3. Lemme Help- Piccolo is furious about Goku's hesitation to help Gohan fight Cell. He declares that he's not going to stand still and watch the boy die, but Goku yells at him to not interfere.
4. I'll Stand With Him- Gohan's slowly losing to Cell's kamehameha wave. Piccolo gets mad again and charges off to help, vowing to die with the boy if need be. He fires a masenko at Cell, who simply blasts him back. Then, he tries a Light of Death attack, but still no good. All the same, he keeps trying saying that he won't let the boy go without him.
