Piccolo- It's not to bad out here once you get used to it, is it Gohan?
Gohan- It's beautiful..Mr. Piccolo, how come you and my father fight each other sometimes?
Piccolo- Ah forget it, it's a long story. Besides, I don't think yer dad and I are gonna be doing too much more fighting anyhow.
Gohan- Wow, that's really great. See, I wanna invite you to my birthday party, but my mom won't allow any fighting.
Piccolo- (Growls)
Gohan- Aww come on, it'll be fun. Hey I think that deep down yer a really great guy!
Piccolo- I'm great in the art of fighting and you will be too. Now stop bothering me with your sentimental rubish!
Gohan- Alright
Piccolo- I've never had any real feelings for anybody in my whole life...I don't like it!
Piccolo reminiscing:
Gohan- What happened? Where's my dad?...It's sour! Bluck!...(laughing)
Piccolo begins running to Gohan:
Piccolo- Don't worry, kid. I won't let anything happen to you. I promise.
Nappa unleashes his blast and Piccolo takes it head-on. The dust clears:
Gohan- Piccolo?
Piccolo- It's okay, kid. No sweat...
Gohan crawls up to Piccolo's side after he falls.
Gohan- Piccolo, why'd ya have to go and do that? Now yer hurt.
Piccolo- I'm passing into another dimension...wish me back, ok?...It' up to you.
Gohan begs Piccolo to hold on, the scene switches to Goku, then back to Gohan and Piccolo.
Gohan- Piccolo!
Piccolo- Gohan...you were the only real friend I've ever had...I wanna thank you.
Gohan- But Piccolo?!
Piccolo begins reminiscing again- I remember the first day I brought you here...you've changed so much since then...and the harder things got...the more determined you became..I'm proud of you. Hey, sorry I was so rough on ya...I knew you could take it..
Gohan- B-but Piccolo..
Piccolo- Get em...Gohan (dies)
Gohan- Noooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!
Piccolo-...Uh-oh! Gohan's energy signal is fading! I'm not gonna let it happen! We've been thru too much together! Begins reminiscing again on how Gohan's gone from a blubbering infant to a little warrior. You were just a pampered kid when I took you in...but you never gave up...you never failed to surprise me either. Maybe I shouldn't have been so hard on you, but you did it without complaint... and I could tell that despite the hardship I put you thru, you truly cared about me...so I died for you, and I'd do it all over again!"
Back to present- Piccolo growls, a new determination rising in him.- I'm almost there, don't you let go!
Gohan- ??...I-It's Piccolo! Am I dreaming? Is it really you?
Piccolo- Good to see you Gohan.
Gohan(close to tears for a minute)- So it worked! The dragon came thru for us after all! This is incredible!
