Hi, I'm Miss Molly. I lived upstairs in Miss Lisa's house for the longest time. One day, I heard lots of laughing coming from downstairs, and I wondered what it was. I snuck to the stairs and peeked over the banister to see what was going on. The house was full of girls and they were learning a new game called Poor Kitty. It looked like they were having lots of fun.
Later that night, after the girls had left, I asked Miss Lisa what was going on. She explained that she was a new Brownie Troop Leader, and that the girls were all members of her Brownie Troop. I asked if I could be a Brownie, because it looked and sounded like they were having so much fun. Miss Lisa said she thought only girls couldbe Brownies, but maybe the girls would like a Mascot for the troop. She promised me she would ask them what they thought of the idea.
A week later, I peeked over the bannister again as Miss Lisa asked the Brownie Troop if they would like to have a Mascot. She explained that a Mascot was a very special member of the troop, and they would all get a chance to spend time with me, and I could go on all their trips with them as well. I was excited when the girls said they would love to have me as their Mascot!
Miss Lisa took me shopping and bought me my very own Brownie Uniform, so I would have a place to put my badges and patches, and at the next meeting introduced me to the troop. They are great girls! I got to go the very next weekend to my first event...selling Girl Scout Cookies at their Cookie Booth!
